We have selected a vast wine list from the various wine regions of Portugal. Portugal has a great and lavish history of wine making dating back to the 1300s. Portuguese wines are well known for the complexity, deep flavors, and balanced smoothness. Despite being small in size Portugal ranks 6th in the world in wine production. Our wines range from Portuguese Reserve wines, Portuguese Red wines, Portuguese White wines, along with a collection of Kendall Jackson, Robert Mondavi, two Rose wines and traditional house wines. Most of these wines were hand picked by the owners and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
Insignia (reserve 2003)
The 2003 Insignia is layered with aromas of
blackberries, black cherries, anise, dark chocolate and coffee. The aromas
and flavors are framed by mouth-coating tannins and followed by extremely
long finish.
Robert Mondavi Opus One 2003 (Napa Valley)
A Moderately deep garnet, this
vintage of Opus One offers aromas of black berry, plum, hazelnut, graphite,
olive oil cocoa and dried cherries. This wine taste presents nuances of dark
chocolate, black licorice and herbs linger on the finish.
Barca Velha (Reserva 1995)
This may be Portugal¹s best wine, and is very
difficult to find. It is only made in select years when the grapes used for
this wine are at their finest. It has a lovely nose of violets and rich dark
berry fruits. On the palate this wine boasts a tart black cherry and cassis
flavor with fine-grained tannins and solid natural acidity. This is a deep
wine with a long palate sensation. A heavy tasting wine in which its
concept is inspired by the famous Bordeaux region in France.
Mouchâo (Tonel N; 3-4 2001)
A "Super Cuvee" made only in EXTRAORDINARY
YEARS. The unique "terroir" and microclimate existing in the specific
valley where the Alicante Bouschet is planted, leads to the unique style of
Mouchao. Very meaty. Huge body and complexity. Unbelievable concentration.
Sage, Eucaliptus, Mint Plums and spices. The longer it is open the further
it develops. Only 50 3 packs were imported.
